Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service.

You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and report any theft or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty with confidence and professionalism. Ideal candidates have 1+ years in customer service or loss prevention, can stand long hours, and are capable of working nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and visually monitor store environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and exits to deter theft and ensure safety.
• Greet every customer with a warm smile and energetic greeting.
• Identify theft incidents or suspicious activity and report to Manager on Duty.
• Assist in shortage reduction programs and train associates as needed.
