Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. seeks a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure, customer-friendly shopping environment.

You’ll monitor entrances and high-risk areas, greet customers with a warm, energetic welcome, and support store leadership in reducing opportunities for theft. In this part-time role, you will report theft incidents, assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs, and uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, asset protection or operations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet every customer with a warm, energetic greeting and professional appearance.
• Identify and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty.
• Support training of associates on shortage reduction programs and safety practices.
