You will monitor entrances and high-risk areas, greet customers with a friendly, energetic presence, and support theft-prevention initiatives. This part-time role requires standing for long periods, confidentiality, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and to visually monitor store environment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is required.
• Ability to review, analyze and comprehend business trends.
• Ability to exhibit a positive demeanor, strong posture, and energetic greeting.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment with detailed focus and disciplined decision making.
• Excellent communication with customers and co-workers.
• Excellent leadership skills that support fostering productive business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances/exits and high-risk areas to reduce theft.
• Greet customers with a warm, energetic greeting and assist as needed.
• Identify and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty.
• Train associates on shortage reduction programs.
• Maintain professional appearance and follow dress standards.
• Create a secure environment and uphold safety standards.
• Conduct bag and package checks on store and corporate associates.
• Support store leadership and communicate theft prevention info during rallies.
