Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure, welcoming environment while delivering excellent customer service. You will greet customers at store entrances with a smile and maintain a visible presence to deter theft.

The role requires staying aware of surroundings, knowing shortage programs, and reporting suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty. You may also train fellow associates on loss-prevention processes, and you will conduct bag checks in

Qualifications

• 1+ year in customer service, retail, or loss prevention preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor store.
• Excellent communication and energetic greeting.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer entering or exiting the store with a warm smile.
• Monitor front of store and reduce opportunities for theft.
• Identify and report theft incidents to Manager on Duty.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs.
• Conduct bag and package checks on associates, ensuring safety standards.
