Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help maintain a secure shopping environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will monitor entrances, greet customers, and support shortage reduction programs with a confident, energetic presence. Qualified applicants typically have 1+ years in retail or asset protection, strong communication, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and to visually monitor store environment.
• Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances/exits and high-risk areas to deter theft.
• Greet customers with a warm, friendly, energetic greeting and provide excellent service.
• Identify theft trends and report incidents to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs and safety practices.
