Job summary

Burlington is seeking a Shortage Control Associate to help create a secure shopping environment while delivering friendly customer service. You’ll monitor entrances and high-risk areas, greet customers with energy, and report theft incidents to the Manager on Duty as needed.

This part-time role offers a competitive hourly wage of $16.90, associate discounts, flexible hours, and opportunities for training and growth within the Burlington Stores family.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and monitor the store environment.
• Confidentiality and disciplined decision making in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store entrances and high-risk areas to reduce theft opportunities.
• Greet every customer with a warm, energetic greeting and maintain a confident presence.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious activity to the Manager on Duty.
• Assist in training associates on shortage reduction programs and processes.
• Create a secure environment and support store leadership in loss-prevention efforts.
