Job summary

H S Loss Control Inspections, Inc is seeking inspector applicants qualified to work in the USA with direct experience completing commercial loss control inspections or completion of a recognized training course. This is an independent contractor role with standard per-case compensation.

Responsibilities include reviewing assignments, scheduling inspections, conducting property inspections, interviewing insureds, and compiling reports online using Loss Control 360 and Rapid Sketch.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience providing commercial loss control inspections.
• Understanding of commercial property and casualty lines: property, general liability, workers' compensation.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate well verbally and in writing.
• Comfortable completing reports online and uploading documents.

Responsibilities

• Receives assignments electronically and reviews for inspection requirements.
• Schedules the inspection appointment with the insured by phone, email, or text.
• Inspects the property for potential issues or hazards pertaining to utilities/building systems, common areas, maintenance, protections, and life safety; takes 20-35 exterior/interior photos.
• Interviews the insured for operations information and ages of building systems.
• Communicates inspection status through the online application.
• Completes the inspection report on the web-based Loss Control 360 system with Rapid Sketch and returns it electronically.
