Job summary

H&S Loss Control Inspections, Inc. is seeking qualified Field Inspectors to perform commercial insurance loss control inspections in the United States.

Independent contractor position with assignments issued electronically and payment on a per-case basis. Inspectors review requirements, schedule appointments, inspect properties for utilities, life safety, and hazards, capture photos, interview Insureds, and submit reports online using Loss Control 360 and Rapid Sketch.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience providing commercial insurance loss control inspections.
• Understanding of commercial property and casualty lines: property, liability, and workers’ comp.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate well verbally and in writing.
• Comfortable completing reports online and uploading documents.

Responsibilities

• Receives assignments electronically and reviews for inspection requirements.
• Schedules the inspection appointment with the Insured by phone, email, or text.
• Inspects the property for potential issues or hazards pertaining to utilities/building systems, common areas, maintenance, protections, and life safety; takes 20–35 exterior/interior photos and measurements.
• Interviews the Insured for operations information and ages of building systems.
• Communicates inspection status through online application.
• Completes the inspection report on Loss Control 360 with Rapid Sketch and returns it electronically.
