Job summary

You will assess properties for utilities, life safety, and maintenance, and collect photos and measurements as required. Applicants should have 3–5 years of commercial loss control experience or completed VIITA Basic Commercial Line Inspector course, and be comfortable reporting findings online and communicating clearly with insureds.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial insurance loss control inspections is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfort with submitting inspections and reports online.

Responsibilities

• Receive assignments electronically and verify inspection requirements.
• Schedule inspections with insured via phone, email, or text.
• Inspect property for potential hazards and take 20–35 photos.
• Interview insured for operations information and building ages.
• Document inspection status in the online system and complete reports.
