Job summary

Christian Care Communities in Hopkinsville, KY is seeking a Scheduler (CNA Required) to manage staff schedules for licensed nurses, CNAs, and other care staff. Previous scheduling experience is preferred and essential for timely assignments and resident care coordination.

The role involves posting schedules at least two weeks in advance, maintaining daily staffing updates, ensuring CNAs for new admissions, and coordinating with DON and HR. Excellent communication and service are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires 2 years experience in long term care and/or scheduling.
• Must have High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Develops and posts work schedules.
• Ensures timely CNA assignment for admissions and residents.
• Maintains daily staffing changes and communicates accordingly.
• Completes paperwork and data entry pertinent to duties.
• Maintains CNA license renewal tracking and communicates with Kentucky Board of Nursing and HR.
• Keeps current listing of employee contacts and coordinates vacations/time off.
• Notifies DON of short staffing and coordinates replacements.
• Coordinates time-off requests with the DON and with contract labor as needed.
• Communicates with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrates knowledge of computer software and proper documentation procedures.
• Provides outstanding customer service and follows the Golden Rule in interactions.
