Job summary

Owenton Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a CNA Scheduler to support the Nursing Department with staffing and weekly schedules. In this role, you will coordinate with nursing supervisors and the Director of Nursing to ensure adequate coverage for residents.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license required.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules staff and prepares weekly nursing schedule.
• Notifies staff of schedule and changes.
• Receives calls and directs scheduling issues as needed.
• Gets overtime or registry approvals from Nursing Director/Administrator before scheduling.
• Adjusts schedules for illness, vacation or PTO.
• Collaborates with Nursing Administration daily to ensure adequate staffing.
• Assists nursing office with clinical management tasks as needed.
• Assists payroll with processing of weekly nursing hours.
