Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) invites you to join as a Cook, preparing and cooking nutritious meals for residents in our long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality, taste, and presentation, and maintain a clean kitchen.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior cooking experience, ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions, and adherence to safety policies. You may need ServSafe certification; lifting up to 50 pounds; residency within the service area;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cook/food prep experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet HCSG standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean and orderly kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
