Healthcare Services Group, Inc. (HCSG) is seeking a Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, ensure quality and safety, and work with staff to deliver excellent dining experiences.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in food prep, ability to lift 50 lbs, and compliance with vaccination policies. ServSafe certification is preferred; residency within the service area is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a cook or in food preparation preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents, staff, and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• May need to complete a sanitation and safety course.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification per state/county law.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
