Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Cook to prepare and cook nutritious meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will follow planned menus, maintain quality and safety standards, and support a clean, organized kitchen.

The role emphasizes teamwork, excellent resident service, and adherence to sanitation guidelines. A high school diploma and ServSafe or Food Handler certification are required, with residency in the service area and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous cook or food preparation experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions.
• Must communicate effectively with residents, staff, and leadership.
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
• Must lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Residency within the service area required.
• Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines; maintain a clean kitchen.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests; provide excellent service.
• All other duties as assigned.
