Job summary

Sysco is seeking a dedicated tractor-trailer driver to join our logistics network. You will transport product from the warehouse to customer locations, following routes and company standards to ensure timely deliveries.Long-haul Linehaul assignments may require 2–3 days away, with routes to PA, FL, OH and other states. Candidates should hold a Class A CDL, be able to pass DOT inspections, and maintain high safety and customer service standards on every trip.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED plus 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Must be insurable to operate a vehicle.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations; Hazmat guidelines; Safe lifting and delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to the customer location and ensures on-time delivery.
• Completes DOT logs, inspections, and delivery paperwork accurately.
• Maintains proper food safety protocols and temperatures in the vehicle.
• Notifies management of deviations to route or loading issues and/or customer concerns.
• Operates equipment including pallets, load bars, SLS unit and PPE.
• Builds good relationships with customers through courteous service and clear communication.
