Job summary

Sysco is seeking a driver to safely and efficiently transport product from the warehouse by tractor-trailer to customer locations in accordance with invoices and company standards. This long-haul Linehaul role travels to PA, FL, OH and a few other states and involves 2–3 days out at a time. The position requires a valid Class A CDL, DOT knowledge and strong communication with customers. The role includes overnight shifts and weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent with 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be insurable to operate a vehicle.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations; Hazmat guidelines; Safe lifting and delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to customer locations; loads/unloads per customer specs.
• Completes paperwork per DOT and company guidelines; ensures loads match bill of ladings.
• Maintains food safety protocols and proper vehicle temperatures.
• Communicates route deviations or issues to management; maintains attendance and schedule.
