Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Training Supervisor in Memphis for a one-year assignment. The role involves creating and maintaining work instructions, training associates, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across processes.

The position emphasizes developing trainers, coordinating training programs, and advising on continuous improvement. It targets strong leadership in a logistics environment with a focus on documentation and process standardization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years logistics or manufacturing industry preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in lead, supervisor or management role required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical writing resources to ensure accurate Work Instructions are developed and maintained for all processes.
• Ensure associates are trained on individual job functions and training is documented.
• Ensure all regulatory and customer safety requirements are incorporated into company policies and associates are appropriately trained.
• Develop and conduct initial new associate and refresher training programs to meet requirements.
• Develop, coordinate, and conduct job-specific and process training programs to train associates.
• Coordinate and direct writing assignments of Technical Writers assigned to document processes.
• Develop site-level Trainers and Technical Writers through Train-the-Trainer and Train-the-Writer classes and coaching.
• Administer Site Safety Program including safety procedures development and audits.
