Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Memphis is seeking a Training Supervisor to develop and manage company-wide training and safety initiatives. The role focuses on creating and maintaining standard procedures, ensuring regulatory and customer safety requirements are met, and coaching staff in training and documentation practices.

As a lead/supervisor, you will coordinate training programs, work with Technical Writers, and partner with Operations to continuously improve processes across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• 1-3 years logistics or manufacturing industry, preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in lead, supervisor or management role, required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, administer, and conduct training and safety programs for associates.
• Provide technical writing resources to ensure Work Instructions are maintained.
• Train associates on job functions and document training.
• Incorporate regulatory and customer safety requirements into policies.
• Develop and conduct new associate and refresher programs to meet requirements.
• Coordinate and conduct job-specific training for associates.
• Direct writing assignments of Technical Writers to document processes.
• Develop site-level Trainers and Technical Writers via Train-the-Trainer programs.
• Administer Site Safety Program, audit compliance, advise management on safety.
• Identify staffing needs and develop staff to meet training and documentation needs.
