Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Memphis, Tennessee is seeking an Operations Specialist to administer and facilitate training programs, ensure compliance with corporate, OSHA and regulatory guidelines, and support onboarding and performance metrics.

You will coordinate training events across campus locations, track budgets, and collaborate with HR, Recruiting and Operations to ensure high-quality development for team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Or Equivalent Work Experience
• 3+ years’ experience in a supervisor or management role
• 3+ years' logistics or manufacturing industry
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Administer and facilitate training and development programs to ensure that Team Members are trained per corporate, OSHA and regulatory guidelines.
• Support activities for Team Members and document processes to meet requirements.
• Develop, maintain and publish annual training calendar for the Training Center
• Facilitate HS&E, MHE, CSCS, onboarding and other training programs
• Develop and update internal training procedures, materials and guides
• Oversee planning, scheduling and coordination of training events for campus locations
• Leverage learning technologies to manage Training Center growth and development
• Assess ongoing training needs using various formats
• Work with Campus Field Safety Manager on safety changes or initiatives
• Develop, track and report training metrics for effectiveness
• Maintain systems to manage training records
• Manage budget and weekly allocation/reclass for training invoicing
• Collaborate with recruiting, operations and support teams to ensure onboarding training delivery
• Provide leadership to training supervisors in Safety, Quality and CSCS Foundations
• Maintain relationships with Learning and Development, local operations and HR/recruiting
• Update business leaders quarterly on training center activity and throughput
• Oversee financial budget for the Training Center
