Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Memphis seeks a Training Manager to administer and facilitate training programs, maintain calendars, and ensure compliance with corporate, OSHA and regulatory guidelines. You will lead HS&E, MHE, CSCS onboarding programs and track metrics to measure effectiveness across campus locations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in a supervisory/management role, and a background in logistics or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• 3+ years in a supervisor or management role.
• 3+ years in logistics or manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, publish annual training calendar for the Training Center.
• Facilitate HS&E, MHE, CSCS, onboarding best practice and other key organizational training programs.
• Develop and update internal training program procedures, materials, manuals, user guides etc. to meet corporate onboarding training requirements.
• Oversee planning and coordination of training events for campus locations.
• Leverage learning technologies to manage Training Center Team growth and development.
• Assess ongoing training needs using various formats.
• Work with Campus Field Safety Manager on safety changes or initiatives.
• Develop, track and report on training metrics for training effectiveness.
• Maintain systems to properly maintain training records.
• Maintain financial allocation documentation for training invoicing. Coordinate weekly allocation/reclass.
• Work closely with recruiting, operations and functional support teams to ensure onboarding training.
• Provide leadership and coaching to training supervisors in Safety, Quality and CSCS Foundations training.
• Build and maintain good working relationship with Learning and Development Team, local operations management teams and the HR and recruiting team to insure quality training and issue resolution.
• Update business leaders and campus business partners quarterly on training center activity, throughput, issues and concerns.
• Oversee financial budget for the Training Center.
