Job summary

DHL in Memphis is seeking a Training Supervisor for a one-year assignment. This role oversees the creation and maintenance of work instructions, and ensures staff are trained on their functions in a safe, compliant manner.

The position requires 1–3 years in logistics or manufacturing with prior lead or supervisory experience. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work history is preferred. This is a third-shift, four 10-hour shifts role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years logistics or manufacturing industry preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in lead, supervisor or management role required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical writing resources to ensure accurate Work Instructions are developed and maintained for all processes.
• Ensure associates are trained on individual job functions and training is documented.
• Ensure safety requirements are incorporated into policies and associates are trained.
• Develop and conduct new associate and refresher programs to meet requirements.
• Coordinate and direct writing assignments of Technical Writers.
• Develop Site Trainers and Technical Writers via Train-the-Trainer/Writer sessions.
• Administer Site Safety Program and advise on safety concerns.
• Identify staffing needs and develop staff for effective training and documentation.
• Coordinate corporate sponsored training programs for site personnel.
• Document system processes and maintain document control for ISO.
