Job summary

LOGISTEC is seeking a dependable Customer Service Representative at our Baltimore terminal to be a key contact for truck drivers, customers, and terminal staff. You will greet drivers, verify paperwork, enter information into systems, and ensure transactions are accurate and efficient.

The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable in a fast-paced terminal environment, with strong communication skills to coordinate with drivers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in customer service, logistics, transportation, terminal, warehouse, or port is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review documentation.
• Comfortable working with computers and entering information into databases or systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Transportation or terminal experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in truck drivers arriving at the terminal in a professional manner.
• Verify driver information, appointments, shipping documents, and bills of lading.
• Review documentation for completeness and accuracy and identify missing or incorrect information.
• Enter and update driver, cargo, and transaction data in computer systems.
• Coordinate truck movements and cargo activity with terminal operations and customers.
• Answer questions and provide timely assistance on terminal procedures and documentation.
