Qualifications

• : Minimum two years’ experience in Customer Service and Import Documentation required.
• : High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred in Transportation/Logistics.
• : Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook; typing and 10-key by touch.
• : Knowledge of shipping documentation and Bills of Lading beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule drivers for pick-up and delivery.
• Check and correct documents to meet deadlines.
• Collect Bills of Ladings and verify information for accuracy.
• Notify customers of cargo arrivals/departures and provide copies of bills of lading.
• Ensure cargo is properly released and documented.
• Work with truck drivers to consolidate orders for destinations.
• Enter all data into the computer system.
• Handle heavy phone communications with customers.
