Job summary

Serpa Packaging Solutions in Visalia, CA is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to lead our logistics team and ensure on-time delivery of machines and parts. This onsite role requires coordinating with production, aftermarket, and customer teams to keep inventory accurate and shipments on schedule.

You will optimize inventory, manage cycle counts, and maintain ERP accuracy using Syteline. Strong supervisory skills and forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in inventory control, shipping & receiving
• Supervisory or lead experience required
• Experience with ERP systems (Syteline preferred)
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Physical ability to stand/walk, lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments for shipping, receiving, and inventory personnel.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and train logistics team employees.
• Manage daily personnel issues including training, performance, and corrective action in coordination with management.
• Cultivate a positive, safe, and collaborative working environment.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to meet production and customer demand.
• Oversee the daily cycle count process: assign staff, review adjustments, conduct root cause analysis, and maintain accuracy metrics.
