Job summary

Serpa Packaging Solutions LLC, part of ProMach, is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to lead our logistics team and optimize inventory control. You will ensure timely material movement, accurate inventory, and on-time delivery of machines and parts to customers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 4+ years in shipping/logistics, supervisory experience, and strong ERP knowledge, with forklift certification a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in inventory control, shipping & receiving, or logistics (manufacturing environment strongly preferred).
• Supervisory or lead experience required.
• Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving systems and inventory processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (Syteline preferred).
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work for shipping, receiving, and inventory personnel.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and train logistics team employees.
• Manage daily personnel issues including training, performance, and corrective action.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to meet demand.
• Oversee the daily cycle count process and maintain accuracy metrics.
• Ensure ERP system accuracy of inventory locations, transactions, and reporting.
• Prepare shipments via FedEx, UPS, freight carriers, and third-party logistics.
• Receive and process incoming shipments and report damages or discrepancies.
