Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor to oversee inbound and outbound shipments in a warehouse setting. You will ensure accuracy, maintain documentation, and drive timely handling of goods.

The role emphasizes safety, inventory accuracy, and efficient processes, with responsibilities including cycle counts, reporting discrepancies, and coordinating with carriers to schedule pickups.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with shipping systems (FedEx, UPS, DHL) and ERP or inventory software.
• Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Accurately document and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company standards and carrier requirements.
• Create shipping labels and documentation such as bills of lading and packing slips.
• Schedule and coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers and vendors.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Maintain organized records of all shipping and receiving transactions.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by properly labeling and storing materials.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory audits.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
