Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Logistics to support order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination. The role offers growth opportunities within a major logistics network in the United States.

The position requires at least 1 year of logistics experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. You will enter loads, monitor status, and communicate with drivers, account managers, receivers and customers to ensure timely deliveries and accurate data.

Qualifications

• 1 year of logistics experience
• Knowledge of the transportation industry
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, verbal or diagram instructions

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; update receivers and customers on load status
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify loads arrive on time and in good condition
• Take check calls from drivers and validate load data prior to marking delivered
• Investigate product overages, shortages, damages and complete necessary documentation
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments; accept or decline loads based on direction from account managers
• Provide detailed directions to properly route drivers
