Roskam Foods in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a detail-oriented office and dock operations assistant to support day-to-day clerical tasks, scheduling, and shipment coordination.

You will create BOLs, assign trucks to doors, verify driver IDs, and help manage inbound/outbound flow while maintaining accurate documentation. We offer medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day office tasks
• Create BOLs and assign trucks to appropriate dock doors
• Instruct Hi-Lo Ops on next priorities
• Check truck driver IDs and seal trailers
• Create switcher/shuttle moves
• Handle bulk receiving, yard/refer checks, and verify documentation accuracy
• Control inbound/outbound truck flow and perform other clerical tasks as needed
