A leading food manufacturer in Kentwood, Michigan, is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage day-to-day office tasks, coordinate truck operations, and ensure customer service excellence. The ideal candidate will handle tasks such as creating bills of lading, assigning trucks to dock doors, checking IDs, and completing paperwork. Responsibilities

• Running the day-to-day office tasks including making appointments, answering phones.
• Creating Bills of Lading (BOLs) and assigning trucks to appropriate dock doors.
• Instructing Hi-Lo operations on their next priorities.
• Checking truck drivers' IDs and sealing trailers.
• Completing yard/refer checks and verifying completion of paperwork.
• Seal trailers.
• Create switcher/shuttle moves.
• Perform yard/refer checks.
• Verify accuracy of paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Control the flow of inbound/outbound trucks.
• Perform other clerical work as needed.
