Job summary

IPEX in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking a Shipper to ensure orders and transfers are shipped accurately, efficiently, and on time. You will coordinate with the Traffic Department and cross-functional teams to manage transportation logistics and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in shipping, logistics, or transportation.
• Strong MS Office proficiency: Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and customer service.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy.
• TDG, WHMIS and C-TPAT training/certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and assign orders to meet delivery timelines.
• Maintain picking sequences based on order priority.
• Manage urgent shipments and customer pick-ups.
• Use TMS to select carrier solutions.
• Dispatch orders and transfers per service standards.
• Monitor shipments via phone and online systems.
• Respond to customer inquiries with updates.
• Serve as primary contact for drivers and pickups.
• Prepare Bills of Lading accurately.
• Maintain compliant records including BOLs and RMAs.
