Job summary

Transmaritime, Inc. in Texas seeks a Transportation Dispatcher Associate to manage outgoing shipments, verify orders in the Imex4-Imexnet system, and maintain detailed records of destination, weight, and charges.

You will coordinate with multiple teams to ensure accurate data entry and timely delivery of materials. The role involves cross‑department data reconciliation, document preparation, and collaboration with Billing and Payables to resolve invoicing issues while supporting KPI achievement

Responsibilities

• Responsible for outgoing shipments and verify merchandise matches orders in Imex4/Imexnet.
• Keep records on destination, weight, and charges for all shipments.
• Coordinate with Transportation Dispatcher Associate to arrange shipping and issue delivery instructions.
• Verify information and operate data entry software such as Imexnet and prepare documents.
• Process information from departments and customers to resolve data inconsistencies.
• Request additional information for incomplete documents.
• Verify, correct, delete unnecessary data, or combine data before entry.
• Scan photos, blueprints for data input into document management systems.
• Maintain records of all outgoing and incoming shipments.
• Partner with Billing Associates to process invoices and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze inventory reports to ensure cargo containers comply with free times.
• Oversee and expedite order life cycle of shipments to meet KPIs.
• Ensure shipment charges are processed through approved payment forms.
• Work with Payables on data for vendor cost processing.
• Use web resources to notify customers of cargo status.
• Coordinate with compliance, transportation, warehouse, and terminal teams for smooth receiving/shipping.
• Support other tasks as required by the Customer Service Supervisor / Manager.
