Job summary

Crane-Solutions-LL seeks an Outbound Specialist to manage ground shipment files from booking to origin departure. You will build files in TMF, trigger EDI to Descartes Aljex, and ensure BOL accuracy while coordinating capacity and scheduling.

Responsibilities include pre-alerts, in-transit visibility via Tive and MacroPoint, and auditing documentation across two systems to ensure data parity and timely handoffs to the inbound team.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation operations, delivery coordination, dispatch, or related logistics role.
• Hands-on with transportation management systems; direct experience with e2open TMF and/or Descartes Aljex preferred.
• Familiarity with US domestic ground freight modes (FTL, LTL, intermodal) and standard shipment lifecycle milestones.
• Excellent documentation audit skills; ability to reconcile signed POD and system records.

Responsibilities

• Booking Intake & File Build: verify data and create TMF file with Crane Solutions as carrier; trigger EDI to Descartes Aljex; add cost and revenue; generate BOL.
• Appointment, Pre-Alert & Shipment Visibility: manage pickups, send pre-alerts, establish in-transit visibility in Tive/MacroPoint, and confirm active sessions.
• Loading, Documentation & Origin Departure: ensure signed BOL uploaded to both systems, audit TMF vs BOL, and hand off to inbound specialist.
