Job summary

Transmaritime, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Distribution Associate to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods in a busy Texas warehouse.

You will verify shipments, organize inventory, pick and pack orders, operate forklifts, and maintain accurate records with our WMS, while upholding safety standards.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, 2+ years forklift experience, and US work authorization; we offer steady shifts and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic math and reading skills to accurately process orders and inventory data.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and procedures.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Forklift operation experience of 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Organize and store products in designated warehouse locations to optimize space and accessibility.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and report discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist with regular inventory counts and cycle counts to support inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
