Job summary

Trinity Logistics is looking for a driven salesperson to join our Houston team as Sales Executive. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years related transportation/logistics sales experience and a track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.

You will cold call potential customers, provide top-quality service, and offer a full suite of logistics solutions while building lasting relationships in a fast-paced inside sales environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of transportation/logistics sales experience with performance requirements met or exceeded.
• Associates and/or bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Must be willing to travel as required.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data and reports, and write professional business correspondence.
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Some after hours or weekend work as required by customer demands and seasonality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cold calls to potential customers and generate leads.
• Provide top-quality service while offering a full suite of logistics solutions.
• Build and maintain relationships to grow revenue and retention.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create effective logistics plans.
• Negotiate terms and close sales to meet targets.
