Job summary

Trinity Logistics in Fort Worth, TX seeks a proactive Business Development Representative to initiate inside sales, cold-call prospects, and build a growing book of business. You will evolve into the account manager, continuously servicing customers’ transportation needs and maximizing commission potential.

The role offers a base salary with unlimited commissions, a collaborative team environment, and opportunities for advancement within Trinity.

Qualifications

• Superior interpersonal and communication skills; problem solving and decision making.
• Previous experience in a customer facing role preferred but not required.
• Experience in logistics preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business data and reports, as well as ability to write reports and professional business correspondence.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with CRM and BI systems helpful and generally strong computer skills.
• Ability to learn new software and computer systems.
• Disciplined organizational and multi-tasking skills required with a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrates the ability to connect with others on a personal level to create an openness and trust in the relationship whether with team members, customers or stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Inside sales in the early stage, making cold calls and pursuing leads to ship with Trinity.
• Grow a book of business and morph into the customer's account manager as relationships develop.
