Qualifications

• Experience with TMS software is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat to edit PDF files is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are expected.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook is expected.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage pickup and deliveries of shipments.
• Maintain continuous communication with carriers and customers to ensure high-quality freight movement.
• Set up customs clearances with Canadian/US brokers and follow up.
• Maintain customer profiles and enter shipments into McLeod software.
• Solicit freight quotations for Spot and Contract markets.
• Schedule pickup and delivery.
• Maintain and update information in operating systems and track shipments to completion.
• Coordinate daily carrier activities with customers and operations team.
• Adhere to established operating procedures and look for opportunities to improve.
• Assist drivers with Macropoint tracking on their phones.
• Assist team with collecting Proof of Delivery for timely invoicing.
