Qualifications

• Relevant experience in logistics or transportation planning is a must.

• Planning abilities for scheduling loads, organizing routes, and managing logistics timelines.
• Effective communication with drivers, internal teams, and customers.
• Customer service skills to address inquiries and manage expectations.
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and experience with logistics operations.
• Proficiency with transportation management or logistics software and standard office productivity tools.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
• Living near the Indianapolis, IN area is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimize transportation schedules and routes to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Plan and update load assignments and monitor shipment status.
• Work with drivers, dispatch, and customers to address changes and resolve issues.
• Analyze route performance, capacity, and costs; maintain records in logistics systems.
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery timelines and expectations.
