FedEx Freight is seeking a logistics supervisor to lead a team and ensure customer satisfaction by moving shipments on time and damage-free. You will plan daily staffing, supervise operations, coach staff, and uphold safety standards in a dock environment.

You will analyze performance data, coordinate with service centers, assist customers with rate quotes and scheduling, and ensure compliance with DOT rules and company policies.

Formación

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of OSHA laws, NMFC and Tariff Rules preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Multitasked oriented and possess good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, educate and develop company employees focusing on retention and growth.
• Supervise and direct employee work with a focus on quality, customer deliverables and safety.
• Actively monitor and educate employees regarding unsafe acts and correct immediately.
• Plan daily manpower needs and set schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Communicate job assignments coordinating with all employees.
• Monitor service freight and ensure cut time compliance.
• Monitor, analyze and address opportunities to cut costs while maintaining safety.
• Assist customers with rate quotes, claim information and scheduling.
• Monitor actual performance data and gather information for reporting.
• Build relationships with business partners to meet service standards.
• Identify freight moved at incorrect weight/classification and address.
• Ensure OS&D is identified and processed properly.
• Perform administrative functions as required and comply with laws and policies.
