FedEx Freight is seeking a capable supervisor to lead a team and ensure shipments are moved on time and damage-free. The role emphasizes safety, coaching, and accurate rate quotes, with a focus on customer satisfaction and collaboration with service centers.

You will manage daily staffing, monitor performance, and drive improvements while upholding DOT and OSHA standards and corporate policies. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Formación

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of LTL Industry, DOT Rules and Regulations, OSHA Laws, Hazardous Materials Regulations, NMFC and Tariff Rules, as well as company policies and procedures, preferred
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Multi-tasked oriented and possess good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, manage, educate and develop company employees focusing on retention and growth.
• Supervise and direct employee work with a focus on quality, customer deliverables and safety.
• Actively monitor unsafe acts/conditions and take corrective action.
• Plan daily manpower needs and set schedules to ensure timely and damage-free freight delivery and pickup.
• Communicate job assignments coordinating with all employees.
• Monitor service freight and ensure cut time compliance.
• Monitor, analyze and address opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiencies while maintaining safety.
• Assist customers with rate quotes, claim information and setting appointments.
• Monitor actual performance data and gather information for reporting.
• Build relationships with business partners to meet service standards.
• Identify freight moved at incorrect weight/classification.
• Ensure OS&D is identified and processed properly.
• Perform administrative functions as required.
