Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Liberty, MO is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee transportation and customs processes and provide customer service for shipments in accordance with regulations. You will supervise staff, manage departmental activities, and drive process improvements.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with several years of related experience, supervisory experience, and knowledge of ITAR and hazmat regulations. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with at least four years of related experience required.
• One year supervisory experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• ITAR, Import Brokerage, Export Compliance, Hazmat knowledge and recordkeeping required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
• Provide supervision and control for all departmental activities, assist in staff training and retention efforts.
• Oversee performance statistics.
• Establish, monitor, and revise policies for customs clearance operations.
• Communicate with operations manager regarding progress and issues.
• Maintain flexible work schedule including after hours on-call rotation.
• Participate in and/or supervise department projects.
