Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of transportation or freight forwarding experience.
• Knowledge of spot quotes, LTL/TL routing, and NMFC/density knowledge.
• Strong vendor negotiation and relationships with customers and vendors.
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, schedule, and route shipments for transportation throughout the U.S.
• Negotiate rates with trucking companies and carriers
• Book space with carriers and arrange pickups/deliveries
• Track and trace freight and provide ETA
• Prepare quotations for ICAT clients and assist with vendor costs
• Maintain accurate data in the TMS
