Job summary

ICAT LOGISTICS INC seeks an Operations Agent to deliver peak customer experience by processing shipments, rate quotes, and vendor decisions. You will handle domestic and international cargo, invoice management, and margin optimization while maintaining compliance and accurate data in the TMS.

You will coordinate pickups, book space, track shipments, prepare quotations, and support account teams with vendor relations and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 2+ years in transportation and/or freight forwarding.
• Experience with spot quotes, routing LTL/TL, and expedited ground services.
• Knowledge of NMFC, density ratings, and carrier networks including cross-border.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, schedule, and route shipments across the U.S.
• Negotiate rates with carriers and complete vendor documentation.
• Track freight, provide ETAs, and verify piece counts.
• Prepare quotations and manage invoicing within ICAT policy.
• Design SOPs and refine workflows to improve margins.
