Job summary

DSV is seeking an Operations Manager in the USA (Northlake). You will oversee day-to-day site operations including warehousing, receiving, and shipping, while planning inbound/outbound volumes and space usage. Lead hiring, training, and performance processes to meet KPI and SLA targets.

You will manage the leadership team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction across the operation.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7 years’ experience in logistics or distribution.
• 5 years’ supervisory experience in a logistics environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, safety‑driven warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehousing, receiving and shipping operations.
• Plan inbound and outbound volume and space utilization.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff; manage performance.
• Ensure KPI targets and client SLAs are met.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost‑saving initiatives.
