Job summary

NAPA is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee inbound and outbound warehouse operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance at the center. You will report to the General Manager/Assistant General Manager and lead teams to meet strategic priorities across inbound and outbound activities.

You will drive dock activities, yard operations, and receiving, while training staff, resolving escalations, and partnering with cross-functional teams to continuously improve performance

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience within a distribution center or similar environment.
• 1+ year in a managerial role leading teams.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with leadership to implement operational strategies.
• Manages inbound/outbound operations, schedules, and staffing.
• Leads inbound dock, receiving, stocking, and safety protocols.
• Oversees truck yard operations and trailer management.
• Ensures safety rules, regulatory compliance, and incident prevention.
• Trains and develops employees; handles escalations and customer issues.
• Monitors cross-functional performance and resolves recurring errors.
• Protects assets and ensures secure opening/closing of facilities.
• Manages budget awareness and cost-saving initiatives.
