Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience within a distribution center or similar environment.
• 1+ year’s proven management experience leading teams.
• Ability to motivate and inspire teams toward continuous improvement.
• Strong organizational and problem solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with General Manager in implementing operational strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Manages outbound operations by setting performance expectations and monitoring team productivity.
• Leads truck yard operations, ensuring orderly trailers, housekeeping, maintenance and safety.
• Ensures safety rules and regulations are followed to maintain a safe environment.
• Trains and develops employees, addressing gaps and supporting problem solving.
• Handles customer inquiries professionally, resolving escalations as needed.
• Works cross-functionally to investigate shipping errors and implement corrective actions.
• Protects assets and monitors equipment usage, receipts, and facility security.
• Monitors budgets and cost management, pursuing cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
