Job summary

USPack in Pittsburgh is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee transportation services for a defined group of clients. You will identify needs, contract independent drivers, and ensure on-time delivery from client locations to designated sites.

Responsibilities include client meetings, route planning, issue resolution, and margin management. Travel to customer locations is required 25–50% in the Pittsburg East area.

Qualifications

• College degree with some experience or a high school diploma with equivalent education and experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to build relationships and document visits.
• Review service metrics and locations scans; address issues using DIRs.
• Coordinate with Independent Contractors (ICs) for routing and performance.
• Monitor gross margins and ensure targets are met.
• Perform driver pay activities and adjust service types as needed.
• Plan route coverage and communicate changes to ICs.
• Assist in troubleshooting eCMobile issues.
