Job summary

USPack is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee transportation services for a group of clients. You will contract and coordinate independent contractors to move goods from client locations to designated sites, ensuring timely service and profitability.

The role requires managing relationships, monitoring margins, and negotiating with ICs while maintaining high levels of service across the assigned area. A college degree with experience or HS diploma is expected, with Six Sigma belt preferred.

Qualifications

• College Degree with some experience or a High School Diploma with equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Client on a frequent basis to build relationship & complete visit documentation.
• Review of OTD, Piece Scan and Location Scan by Account.
• Create, review, and resolve service issues using Delivery Incident Reports (DIRs).
• Complete customer reports/audits.
• Independent Contractor (IC) activities and candidate verification.
• Plan route coverage and communicate with IC.
