Job summary

XPO is seeking an Operations Management Trainee in Salt Lake City to join a 12-month rotation through field operations, linehaul, maintenance and support functions. The program includes CDL and forklift training, leadership development and hands-on operational experience, with a path to frontline supervision.

Annual salary is listed at $63,000 with potential bonuses; full benefits start day one, including health and life insurance, 9 paid holidays, 15 PTO days, 401(k) match and education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations management, business or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership through internships, academic projects, athletics or work experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Willing to relocate within region after successful completion of the program.

Responsibilities

• Work on a 12-month Management Training operations rotational program across field operations, linehaul, maintenance and support functions.
• Participate in the internal CDL school and forklift certification during the program.
• Learn and perform the foundational job functions of each rotational assignment.
• Complete leadership training at key points to prepare for frontline leadership on the dock.
• Work with freight operations supervisors, dockworkers and field leaders to gain hands-on experience.
