Job summary

XPO is recruiting for an Operations Management Trainee in the United States. The 12-month rotational program develops leaders with hands-on experience across dock operations, linehaul, maintenance and support, including CDL school and forklift certification.

You'll gain exposure to field operations, reporting, and leadership development while earning a competitive salary and benefits. Start date is January 11, 2027, with promotion to Freight Operations Supervisors upon program completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience required.
• High level of stamina, adaptability and grit; daily challenges balancing operational demands, learning new skills quickly and taking leadership situations in real time.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Work on a dock alongside frontline teams in a demanding environment.
• Participate in a 12-month rotational operations program with 1–5 week assignments across all major functions.
• Complete CDL school and forklift certification during the program.
• Develop foundational skills for each rotation and prepare for frontline leadership.
