Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Swedesboro, NJ seeks an Operations Supervisor I to coordinate transportation and customs activities, oversee staff, and deliver excellent customer service for import/export shipments.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least four years in related work, supervisory experience, and knowledge of ITAR/export compliance; Microsoft Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Minimum four years related experience.
• Minimum one year supervisory experience; bachelor’s degree preferred in related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversee transportation and customs processes and provide customer service for shipment, receipt and documentation of imported/exported products.
• Supervise staff, conduct meetings, address performance issues, and ensure policies are followed.
• Review shipment documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulations; communicate with customs officials as needed.
• Compute duties, tariffs and conversions; ensure timely release of freight and resolve delays.
• Identify process improvements in import/export operations and monitor team performance against standards.
• Maintain flexible schedule including after-hours on-call rotation and participate in department projects.
